Ms. Winokur is a member of Holland & Hart's Natural Resources Department, concentrating primarily on water rights and water quality issues. Ms. Winokur assists municipal water providers, real estate developers, homeowners' associations, industrial water users, ranchers, farmers, individual landowners and special districts in water court litigation and related administrative proceedings, including the adjudication of water rights, changes of water rights, and plans for augmentation. She also assists clients in the evaluation, assessment, and conveyance of water rights. Ms. Winokur also has experience handling personal injury, oil and gas, and other commercial litigation matters.
While in law school, Ms. Winokur clerked for the National Judicial Education Program. She also worked as a summer associate for Holland & Hart in 2003. Prior to law school, Ms. Winokur coordinated the Legal Project at Alternative Horizons Domestic Violence Outreach Center and the volunteer program at the La Plata County Humane Society.
Ms. Winokur is currently admitted to practice in all Colorado state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
