Ms. Jones' practice emphasizes energy (with a focus on renewable energy), environmental, mining, natural resources, water rights, and real estate law. Her practice includes project development, real estate, commercial and secured financing transactions. She represents clients in permitting and regulatory compliance matters and in state and federal agency decisions and enforcement actions. She advises clients with respect to federal, state and local land use permits and issues, environmental permits (air quality, water quality, wetlands and waste), real estate title matters, water rights, mineral and geothermal rights, and regulatory and due diligence issues. She assists clients with real property purchase and sale agreements, leases (including ground leases for energy projects, and mineral and geothermal resource leases), secured financing documents, legal opinions, and other transaction documentation. She also assists clients with internal environmental audits and advises clients with respect to agency inspections and emergency planning.
Ms. Jones has been an attorney in Holland & Hart's Boise, Idaho office since 1989. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Ms. Jones practiced in San Francisco, California. She is included in Chambers USA's directory of leading attorneys and has received an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell.
