Water Rights Real Estate Financial & Commercial Transactions

Mr. Howard concentrates his practice on water law and real property and has over 35 years of experience in these areas of law.

Among Mr. Howard's areas of practice are water projects and water rights issues including large water rights transfers and water rights acquisitions and sales, water infrastructure matters; residential, commercial and industrial real estate development; master planned communities; real property sales and purchases, and financing transactions.

Mr. Howard has served as counsel for the sales and acquisitions of water rights, water supply and infrastructure development including water importation, major water rights issues, water rights in conjunction with residential and commercial development, energy projects and major mining projects for one of the world's largest gold mines. He has also been counsel for water rights approvals and issue resolutions with the Nevada State Engineer's Office and spent seven years representing a public/private water importation project in order to obtain the interbasin importation permits.

Mr. Howard was counsel to numerous acquisitions and sales transactions of real estate, including industrial, residential and commercial properties.  He oversaw the development of major residential projects including condominium conversions of hotels and apartments as well as the development of major commercial and industrial projects.

Mr. Howard has been selected by his peers in the State of Nevada to be listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been selected for listing in Chambers USA, The Legal 500, and Mountain States Super Lawyers for real estate. Mr. Howard has been awarded an AV Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
