Mr. Flangas practices primarily in the fields of commercial litigation, construction litigation, and natural resources such as water law. As a litigator with the firm since 1984, he has represented numerous entities and individuals in state and federal court litigation as well as administrative hearings and proceedings before county commissions, city councils, and administrative boards and bodies such as the Nevada State Engineer with regard to water rights.
Mr. Flangas has handled litigation on behalf of corporate clients, individuals, business owners, contractors, developers, and lenders in various state and federal courts in Reno, and Las Vegas, and in other state courts in Carson City, Elko, Douglas, and other rural counties. He has presented seminars on mechanic's liens, water law, and construction law, and has appeared before numerous administrative boards and bodies in land use matters (zoning, master planning, special use permits) permitting and licensing applications.
Mr. Flangas is a AAA certified arbitrator.
