Ms. Bender's practice focuses on commercial, natural resources, and employment litigation. She also counsels clients regarding personnel matters.
Ms. Bender has represented commercial and nonprofit entities in a variety of claims including land use disputes, breach of contract, wrongful discharge, discrimination, and insurance coverage matters.
Ms. Bender has represented clients before the Montana Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has appeared before the NLRB, the Montana Human Rights Commission and the state Departments of Labor and Industry and Environmental Quality, and the Montana Water Court. She has represented a number of clients in the Montana water rights adjudication process and associated litigation.
Ms. Bender is admitted to practice in the state courts of Montana and Colorado, before the United States District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
