Holland & Hart represents some of the Non-Indian defendants in the stream system adjudication suit pending in Federal Court in New Mexico relating to the Pojoaque Basin in Northern New Mexico. This draft settlement agreement is the result of over three years of Court-ordered mediation to resolve the Aamodt litigation which has been pending since 1966. The foundation of the settlement is the development of a Regional Water System to serve the Pojoaque Basin. The settlement protects existing uses and provides for development of future water rights in accordance with certain requirements. Please contact Mark Sheridanwith questions.
